Meal prep for 15–20 guests
You're feeding 15–20 people across multiple cabins for 2 nights. The strategies below come from repeat reunion organizers — steal what works.
- 1.Every cabin has a full kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, and BBQ pit outside — no group dining hall, but coordinated cooking works well.
- 2.The Corral pavilion is the easiest single spot for group meals (~25–60 guests). Bring folding tables or rent ours when reserving the pavilion.
- 3.Closest grocery: H-E-B in Seguin (~12 min) and Schertz (~15 min). Walmart is in New Braunfels (~20 min). Stock up before check-in — there is no on-site store.
- 4.Catering options the property recommends: Bill Miller BBQ, Rudy's BBQ (Selma), Pollos Asados Los Norteños (SA), or a Tex-Mex tray order from local taquerias. We do not require approval for outside caterers.
- 5.Bring extra coolers, trash bags, and paper goods — a 20-person reunion goes through more disposables than you'd think.
- 6.Coffee strategy: bring a large drip pot or ground coffee for 20+; cabin coffee makers are single-pot.
