What's the best route from New Braunfels — TX-46 or I-10?

TX-46 East is the most direct from downtown NB, Gruene, and the Comal side of town — a quiet country drive straight to us. From Canyon Lake or the north side, I-10 East to exit 599 (Marion / FM 78) is usually faster. Either way you're pulling in the gate in under 30 minutes.
